1. The conveyor belt is peeled to prevent the gap between the surface glue layer from widening.

The length of each layer in the middle of the conveyor belt strip head is slightly shortened by 1 mm to prevent this part of the length from erroring during belt stripping. The PU synchronous belt may easily support each other between the layers corresponding to the upper and lower joints, resulting in the gap widening of the joints of the upper and lower surface glue layers.

2. Coordination inspection of joint ladder

Stack the two ends to check whether the joint layers are accurately matched with each other. Leave a 1-2mm gap between the tops of the same cloth layer. If the correction is not accurate, it is necessary to ensure that the same cloth layer at the top cannot overlap.

3. Precautions for applying glue

First use a brush to clean the adhesive surface, and then apply glue at least twice. The rubber layer applied to the rubber conveyor belt should be thin at each time, but no missed coating is allowed. It must be dried thoroughly before applying the next glue. The glue must be dry and thoroughly, otherwise bubbles will be generated, resulting in a degradation of adhesive performance.

4. Use advanced cold glue to cover the joint gap

German Belzona cold glue replenishment and reinforcement bandages can be used to cover the joint gap of the conveyor belt, which completely prevents water and sand from entering the joint gap and better improves the service life of the belt joint. Polyurethane triangle belt tip: Do not use thermal repair method to cover the gaps of the joints. Because the heat replenishment method can reach a temperature above 145°C, it is extremely unfavorable to the conveyor belt joints made of cold adhesive.
